A broken toilet here, painting there, can you do this? That's our story. Apartments became our focus because there are many "handyman" type businesses but none that specialized in just apartments. Most landlords and apartment managers do not live in the same area as their units, or are busy with their current job and family to do the work themselves. This leaves a tremendous industry. Actually we didn't invent this kind of industry. It is called "turn cleaning" but we take it a step further.

Who we are looking for:

If you are the type of person who is always working on one project or another around the house; if you look forward with anticipation to your Saturday morning "Honey Do" list; if you are on a first-name basis with the folks down at the Home Depot; then a RentReady territory may be for you.

You will receive territory rights to 200 square miles. We limit this because most jobs over 200 miles will not be worth your time, this means in every state we will have at least 2 or 3 people only. You may buy a statewide territory but you must already be a handyman and have the ability to service statewide.

Income Potential:

As with any business your success depends on your efforts, but a conservative analysis of the market suggests that you should be able to clean 2 apartments per day at a average price of $120.00 for cleaning and carpet cleaning. You should average 8 per week. Adding on additional services will result in a higher per unit price. You can also offer special packages such as clean, carpet clean, paint, and odor removal for $250.00 per unit. All work is done in one day. This is not including fixing a toilet, replacing appliances, fixing a door, etc. You are free to perform any services you feel comfortable performing. You are also free to charge whatever you wish. The software will help you with this and we have some pricing ideas we can share with you.

$1,995.00 per territory
No monthly royalty fees
We charge an annual territory fee of $500.00 after you are in business for one (1) year. This covers the annual cost of the software, hosting, domain name, website updates throughout the year, marketing materials, and co-op advertising. We chose this route over franchising because we don't believe in taking a percentage of your profit after a hard days work, we just want to be able to make a small profit per year for helping you succeed.

Territory Availability:

We have territories available in every state except all of Michigan, Northern Ohio, Indiana, San and all of Massachusetts.

Inventory Package:

Website www.rentready(yourcity).com or other suitable name. We will upload and provide hosting for a duplicate site of our main site changed with your contact info. You will also receive the leads from our website for your area.

* Additional Requirements* As with any business you must check with your local clerk to see about special licensing. You must register in your county a D.B.A (Doing business as) under Rent Ready of (your city or state name) you must fax this completed application once filed to our offices within 30 days of taking delivery of your territory. You must also purchase general liability insurance, workers compensation insurance if you have employees working for you. Copies must be sent in to us no later than 60 days of taking delivery of territory. All advertising must be pre-approved before posting. If you provide electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other professional service you must send us copies of your certificates. Failure to provide this necessary documentation may result in termination of territory without monetary reimbursement. You agree to hold harmless Diversified Industries dba Rent Ready USA or Allen Puckett from any claims or losses.
